Here's the problem with waiting: QuestBridge requires two teacher recommendation letters from core-subject teachers, ideally from 11th grade, plus a school counselor report and financial documentation. Those materials take weeks to collect. If you haven't emailed your junior-year teachers yet, do it today. Opening August 19: Jack Kent Cooke
The Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship Program opens on August 19, 2026, inside Common App. The deadline is November 11, 2026. At up to $55,000 per year for up to four years, this is one of the highest-value scholarships in the country, with about 60 recipients annually.
