Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship (DEADLINE: November 11, 2026)
Jorbi.ai calls this "the most underutilized elite scholarship for high-GPA students from middle-income families," and the description is accurate. JKC pays up to $55,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, with a potential total value of about $220,000. About 40 scholars are selected annually.
Why do families miss it? They assume need-based aid isn't for them. The income ceiling is roughly $95,000 in gross household income, well above what most people picture when they hear "financial need scholarship."
